Assistance
USW Locals 1299 and 9264 members are eligible for tuition assistance. You
may receive a maximum of $1800 per calendar year (January through December)
in vouchers and/or reimbursements at an LJC-approved educational school
or provider. Funds may be used for tuition, registration fees, lab and course
fees, and required textbooks. Materials, supplies, and equipment are not
covered by the program. Required textbooks are reimbursed upon providing
the CDC with the necessary documentation.
You can use tuition assistance for credit or non-credit
enrichment courses at an approved school, or for certification programs
at an approved school. The LJC approves all vouchers and reimbursements.
You can use tuition assistance for approved online courses at an approved
school.
